DEGREES OFFERED: Offers four types of grad degrees related to Sustainable Design DESCRIPTIONS: First-Professional Master of Architecture offers students with undergraduate degrees in any field either an "emphasis" or "specialization" in sustainable design. The Post-Professional Master of Architecture offers students with professional degrees in architecture advanced study in an area of concentration: historic preservation, sustainable design, advanced architectural design, or urban design. The Master of Science in Sustainable Design (MSSD) prepares students for a career in research or for the Ph.D. A Ph.D. in Architecture offers concentrations in the history of architecture and historic preservation. An adhoc Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies offers advanced study to students who wish to integrate the study of sustainable design with a number of disciplines.
